Wangard Partners Receives Energy Star Label For Wauwatosa, WI Office Development Property

Wangard Partners is proud to announce its office development property, High Pointe Office Center, located at 1200 North Mayfair Road, Wauwatosa, WI has received the ENERGY STAR label for 2021.

Wangard Partners, Inc. utilizes Energy Star Portfolio Manager to track energy and water consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions at its office buildings and development properties. This is called “benchmarking.” The first step to saving energy at your building is to benchmark — that is, to measure and compare your building’s energy to similar buildings, past consumption, or a reference performance level.  Benchmarking turns the information on your utility bill into knowledge you can act on.

The ENERGY STAR score compares a building’s energy performance to similar buildings nationwide, normalized for weather and operating characteristics. A score of 50 represents median performance. A higher score is better than average; lower is worse. An Energy Star score of 75 or higher qualifies a building for Energy Star certification and LEED for Operations and Maintenance certification, recognition programs for energy efficient, sustainable buildings.
