Wangard Partners Earns AMO® Certification

Wangard Partners, Inc. (WPI) was officially sworn in as an ACCREDITED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION® (AMO®) by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®), an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®. The AMO® accreditation is the only one in the industry that recognizes excellence among real estate management firms. Firms that earn it must demonstrate the highest standards of professional service, financial stability, and accountability, and have a CERTIFIED PROPERTY MANAGER® (CPM®) directing and supervising the real estate management team. In addition, AMO® firms must abide by the rigorous AMO® Code of Professional Ethics that is strictly enforced by the Institute.Preceding the ability for a company to receive AMO® stature at least one staff member must complete CERTIFIED PROPERTY MANAGER® (CPM®) certification. This certification process encompasses over 100 hours of class work as well as eight-course exams that emphasize budgeting, marketing, managing teams and operations, financing, performance and valuation, asset analysis and ethics. The CPM® process ends with a final examination that spans three days, entails multiple-page essays and over 150 questions to measure competency.
