MATT MORONEY

Matt's career began in the homebuilding industry, where he served as Executive Director of the Metropolitan Builders Association. In this role, Matt skillfully led a group of independent homebuilders to work collaboratively and achieve industry-wide goals. He later was asked by Gov. Scott Walker to serve as Deputy Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Subsequently, Matt served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Governor Walker until he was selected as the Strategic Economic Initiatives Director for the State of Wisconsin.

Matt's contributions to Wisconsin's business landscape have earned him widespread recognition. He was recently honored with the prestigious Mike Mooney Award by the Wisconsin Chapter of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, he is a member of the Milwaukee BID District 21 (Downtown), and was also ranked among the Milwaukee Business Journal's Top 55 Business Executives.

Beyond his achievements in economic development, Matt is deeply involved in the community, serving on the boards of several organizations, including Citizens Bank, and Waukesha Business Alliance. He also lends his expertise to the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties Public Policy Committee.
