Wangard Partners, Inc. (Wangard) announced that it began to install pre-cast concrete wall panels at its West Allis Industrial Development site on 11406 and 11528 West Rogers Street on December 30th. Pre-cast installation is a major milestone for the brownfield development project, which is a redevelopment of the former Yellow Freight Trucking site. Wangard utilized New Market Tax Credits and TIF dollars in order to clean up and redevelop the prime piece of industrial real estate that has access to three main interchange arteries.The 122,000 square foot development is expected to open in July 2015 and will hold two separate buildings. Ferguson Enterprises, the largest United States distributor of residential and commercial plumbing supplies and pipe, valves and fittings (PVF) will locate a new 72,000 square foot office and warehouse within the development.
