Mark R. Hogan has extensive experience in the banking industry, with almost four decades at M&I Marshall & Ilsley Bank and BMO Harris Bank. He retired in 2010 as M&I’s Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer, then served as a Senior Adviser to BMO Harris until September 2015.
Economic development leadership
Mark was appointed by Governor Scott Walker as Secretary & CEO of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), serving in that role until September 2019.

- Currently a director of Ixonia Bancshares, Chorus Community Health Plan (part of Children’s Wisconsin), m2 Equipment Finance LLC, and Ingantec Corporation.
- Past affiliations include the Wisconsin Housing & Economic Development Authority, Children’s Wisconsin, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, and Cristo Rey Jesuit, Divine Savior Holy Angels, and Marquette University High Schools.

- Graduate of the University of Notre Dame (1977).
- Earned an MBA through Marquette University.

Mark and his wife, Janet, have three adult children and four grandchildren.
